The war is offically over, and the most important battle was quickly lost.

Yesterday, around midnight, we had to take Issac to be put down.

I have never been in this much pain, and I don't know what to do about it. Its kinda funny, but his death is affecting me more than my Great Grandmother's did a few years back. He was my best friend. And he was 2 and a half.

He had been having coordination problems for a few days, and yesterday, after around sevenish, he lost the ability to really move around with his back legs. Finally, after eleven, it was obvious he was in too much pain. So, we took him in, and let him stop hurting.

I'm devastated. I can't even sit at the computer desk without waiting for him to come sit on my lap, or to steal food off my plate in the living room, or to see him choking down food, or to see him carry around hair ties, rubberbands, waterbottle caps, anything...and then dropping it in his water bowl to see if it would float. He'll never strech out all lazy in the grass outside again...and he'll never chase anymore invisible bugs around my house....
